SESO Terms & Conditions

Welcome to SESO. By accessing our website (www.seso.lk) or placing an order with us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.


1. About Us

  • SESO is a home-based business offering homemade food, beverages, cakes, desserts, and handcrafted items.

  • We operate strictly on pre-orders only.

  • There is no dine-in facility or walk-in service.


2. Orders

  • All items must be ordered in advance.

  • Certain items require a longer preparation time (cakes, party orders, handcrafted products).

  • Once an order is placed, we will confirm it through WhatsApp, SMS, email, or phone call.


3. Payments

  • A 50% advance payment is required to confirm all orders.

  • Remaining payment must be settled at pickup or before delivery.

  • Accepted payment methods:

    • Cash (on pickup)

    • Bank Transfer

    • Online Card Payments (Visa/Mastercard) – coming soon via PayHere

  • Orders are not considered confirmed until the advance payment is received.


4. Pickup & Delivery

  • Pickup Location: Ratmalana (Exact location will be shared after order confirmation).

  • Delivery:

    • Delivery can be arranged upon request (location-based availability).

    • Delivery charges will be informed before finalizing the order.

  • Extra services:

    • We can arrange flower bouquets, gift items, and cake deliveries upon request.

  • SESO is not responsible for delays caused by weather, traffic, courier issues, or unforeseen circumstances.


5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Orders must be canceled at least 48 hours in advance.

  • Advance payments are non-refundable for last-minute cancellations.

  • If SESO cancels an order due to unforeseen issues, a full refund will be provided.

  • Due to the nature of food and handcrafted products, returns or exchanges are not accepted.


6. Food Safety, Ingredients & Allergies

  • Our meals are prepared using natural, homemade ingredients with no artificial colours, flavours, preservatives, or MSG in cooked dishes.

  • Branded food colours and essences may be used for cake decoration and sugar flowers.

  • Certain bottled or frozen items may contain safe, approved preservatives.

  • Some dishes may include allergens (e.g., dairy, nuts, gluten, seafood, eggs).

  • Customers are responsible for checking ingredients before ordering.

  • Special dietary requests (e.g., halal-friendly, vegetarian, vegan) must be informed at the time of ordering.


7. Product Quality

  • All items are prepared fresh, with care and proper hygiene.

  • Colour, shape, and design of cakes and handcrafted items may vary slightly as they are handmade.

  • Images shown on the website or social media are for illustration and may not be identical.


8. Intellectual Property

  • All content on www.seso.lk, including text, recipes, branding, graphics, and some images, belongs to SESO.

  • No content may be copied, reproduced, or reused without written permission.


9. Limitation of Liability

SESO is not responsible for:

  • Allergic reactions if the customer fails to disclose allergies.

  • Issues arising from incorrect delivery information provided by the customer.

  • Failures or delays caused by third-party services (banks, payment gateways, couriers).

  • Misuse or improper storage of food after pickup or delivery.


10. Privacy & Personal Information

  • We collect only the information necessary to process your order (name, contact number, address, etc.).

  • Your information is kept secure and will not be shared with third parties except for delivery purposes.

11. Changes to Terms

  • SESO reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.

  • Updates will be posted on this page with the revised effective date.
