Return & Refund Policy

Welcome to SESO. By using our website (www.seso.lk) or placing an order, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy.


1. About SESO

  • SESO is a home-based business offering homemade food, beverages, cakes, desserts, and handcrafted items.

  • We operate strictly on pre-orders only.

  • There is no dine-in facility or walk-in service.


2. Orders

  • All items must be ordered in advance.

  • Certain items require longer preparation time (cakes, party trays, handcrafted items).

  • Orders are confirmed via WhatsApp, SMS, email, or phone call.


3. Payments

  • A 75% advance payment is required to confirm all orders.

  • The remaining balance must be paid at pickup or before delivery.

  • Accepted payment methods:

    • Cash (on pickup)

    • Bank Transfer

    • Online Card Payments (Visa/Mastercard) – coming soon via PayHere

  • Orders are not considered confirmed until the advance payment is received.


4. Pickup & Delivery

  • Pickup Location: Ratmalana (exact location shared after order confirmation).

  • Delivery:

    • Delivery can be arranged upon request (location-dependent).

    • Delivery charges will be confirmed before finalizing the order.

  • Extra Services:

    • We can arrange cake deliveries, gift items, and flower bouquets.

  • SESO is not responsible for delays caused by weather, traffic, courier issues, or unforeseen circumstances.


5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Customer Cancellations
  • Orders must be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance.

  • Cancellations after this window are not eligible for a refund.

Refunds
  • Advance payments (75%) are generally non-refundable except if SESO cancels the order.

  • If SESO cancels due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be provided.

No Returns
  • Due to the nature of our products, returns or exchanges are not accepted for food, baked items, drinks, or handcrafted products.


6. Food Safety, Ingredients & Allergies

  • Cooked meals are made using natural, homemade ingredients with no artificial colours, flavours, preservatives, or MSG.

  • Branded food colours and essences may be used for cake decoration and sugar flowers.

  • Bottled or frozen items may contain safe, approved preservatives.

  • Some dishes may include allergens (e.g., dairy, nuts, gluten, seafood, eggs). Customers must check ingredients before ordering.

  • Halal-friendly, vegetarian, and vegan options are available—please specify when ordering.


7. Product Quality

  • All items are prepared fresh with proper hygiene.

  • Handmade cakes, desserts, and gifts may have slight variations from images, which is normal.


8. Intellectual Property

  • All content on www.seso.lk, including text, recipes, images, and branding, belongs to SESO.

  • No content may be copied or reused without written permission.


9. Limitation of Liability

SESO is not responsible for:

  • Allergic reactions if customers fail to disclose allergies.

  • Issues from incorrect delivery information provided by the customer.

  • Failures or delays caused by third-party services (payment gateways, couriers).

  • Improper handling or storage of food after pickup/delivery.
